things just keep getting better.
Today I had the sudden realization that things have gotten so much better since I broke up with Shawn in all ways, and that I should have done it a long time ago. I know, I know, you all have been telling me this for a long time.
But it is a hard thing to admit that you wasted a great deal of time and energy on a relationship that, in retrospect, should not have lasted more than a few months.
o.k. you all get one more free "i told you so," and then you can leave it alone.
I have been singing Anita's song in my head all day. For all of you who do not know Anita, well, one you are missing out, and two here is how the song goes: ... and Lord if it gets much better than this, I don't know what I'll do/ in dark times you are truth/ the star beyond blue moons/ a fire in me and you...
It strikes me as a truly wonderful thing that I can sing this song about my life and mean it.
