fall break: prequel
Hello gentle people.
Now no lynching allowed since I am finally updating the journal thingy. Not that I don't have other journals that I also neglect...
Lets see.... wisdom tooth out, it got infected, I was on medicine, and now I'm done with that.
The weekend was good, besides the driving bit, and the running into Shawn's mother bit. I was at Scotty's getting a gallon jug of mineral spirits so mom could get the tar off the kitchen floor, and just as I was about to walk out the door, Denna walks in. We both say hi, how are you doing, with no mention of Shawn, and leave. I got in my car and sat there vowing that once Mom moved I was never going back to Punta Gorda.
Yes, I'm entirely paranoid...
On the other hand, the cutting of Rachel's hair was fun. She invited over a bunch of friends for moral support, and a did a nice job of cutting it. Then we had pizza, and Rachel and a few friends went to see School of Rock. I went to sleep.
On Sunday we left the house around noon, and went to Arcadia to do work. we stopped on a whim at a sign saying smoked mullet and ribs, and another saying boiled peanuts.
I got a fish! yummy mullet..... and Rachel and Mom both had some, cause it was a huge fish!
We also got boiled peanuts.
