My mother, sister Rachel, and James. heck, most of my realtives. I love the holidays!
3: What movie(s) did your family always watch during the holidays?
Movie? what is this thing you speak of? mostly there was a lot of caroling, reading books, and reciting "A visit from saint nickolas," which I could do from the age of three...
4: Is Christmas about Jesus or about Santa?
O.k. So when I grew up, I had several differnt homes: at grandma's it was jesus, with a smal spattering of presents. At my father's: "Sandy Claws" the santa crab... ask too many questions and I will make you one. at mom's house it was a winter holiday, but we sang all the religous carols, and generally read about jesus... as for me, I have been avoiding both Jesus's birthday and Santa of late. Winter holiday all the way!
5: How about Hanukkah? Is it all about the dradle or do you care about the Maccabees?
My education has failed me... I have no idea.
6: Are you pagan? Do you have a proud little yule-bush?
In so much as I am anything in particular I am pagan... but the bush has been replaced with homemade garland, because we are poor this year, and buying a dead tree seems wasteful.
7: What are the best things to eat and drink around the holidays?
O'carolines, Sugar cookies with butter cream frosting, duck in orange sauce, green bean cassarole, cranberry sauce, rum balls that my grandma makes.
8: What are YOUR holiday colors of choice?
I actually like red and green.
9: If you can finish this verse of the following Xmas carol (from memory! No Googling!) , I will love you forever.
