I was awoken by a frog this morning
Jun. 15th, 2006 03:01 pmSo I hear rustleing this morning, and figure that it is Kylie, or a chicken out side the window, or something. But it keeps happening. So I sit up in bed, and someting LEAPS out of the plastic bag which was sitting on the floor. I decide that I am way to tired for this nonsense, and go back to sleep. A half an hour later, I get woken by it again. So moving very slowly, I put on my glasses and look to see what in the world is makeing all the noise. It is, as I suspected: A frog. A large green frog, sittting on a plastic bag in my room. I get out of bed, and wake up Kylie. (I am not going to catch a frog with nothing but a bathrobe on, and it is still very early. So Kylie successfully captures the errent amphibain, and we return it to the out doors. But I am still tring to figure out how in the world it got inside the house. Althoug, when Kylie went out to feed the chickens, she saw them every where. Could the morpic vibrations of reading _Half Asleep in Frog Pajamas_ by Tom Robbins attraccted them? or was it the heavey rain several days ago? I am confused.
In other fun news, I learned that a group of turtles is not, in fact known as a "herd," but rather as a "bale."
Now what would the collective noun for a group of frogs be?

An army
