I have an Idea, but can't do my own hair, because I'm growing it out in the intrest of doing a cool con costume in October.

how much hair does the recipient of the Idea need? I was gonna cut mine before I head down there, but I might let it go a while longer if you need a head to play with. But my hair is very fine, not all that thick and short. Not sure if it will serve your purposes.

So long as you don't do anything I can't wear to a new job ... 'cept one way or another I want to cut it/get it cut before my first day, and I'm not sure the opportunity will present itself (certainly not if I keep Not Packing with the Internets!)

As for crashing arrangements, my tentative plan is to spend my first few days at Ryan and Tara's, then head to Sanna's for a week or so, then to your place for a week or so. After that, I should have a place (although my would-be landlord has vanished from the face of the Internets ... I'm going to have to call him). I'll be calling.
