Reply to this post, and I'll tell you one reason why I like/love/adore you. Then put this in your own journal, and spread the love.

Step One

Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you. - Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post (it'll be public) so that the holiday joy will spread.

Step Two

Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part: If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use (or even if you know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for them), fulfill their wish. You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out; it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call. There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just wish, and it might come true; give and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

1. Home Economics' teachers' favorite recipes: dessert eddition. Growing up this was totally my favorite cookbook, but Melanie, (stepmother) refuses to let me have it. so anyone who finds it for me has undying gratitude.
2. The complete short storys of Robert A. Heinlien yeah, that really says it all. I have seen it! one volume of amazingness!
3. Dvd of monty python. Any of it really.
4. Copies of photographs. It suddenly occured to me that I need photographs of everyone. one's with me in them would be cool too. Or paradoxos. or Racheopod.
5. Wooden slide drawers. I can keep beads in them. but they don't make them anymore, (surprise!) so if you find them used, I would love them, or just thier location and cost. I'm talking about the big ones, the size of bed side tables at least. poing!
6. Hats. I really like cool vintage, or just funky hats.
7. plumes, to decorate the hats.
8. a big party where all my friends can come at one time.
9. a finished thesis. but no one can do this but me relistically. on the other hand cheerleading never hurt!
10. a bag of holding. so that Paradoxos can have empty space, and I can have my things.

You simply asked that they could come, not that they would. All of my friends are invited to symposium, regardless of continent they currently reside in, and the same is true for yours.

I love your cold toes on my hot bellie, because the world is too hot here. And your cold fingers on my neck.
